The Technical Account Manager is responsible for selling Canyon Technical Services Ltd. products and services through the achievement of opportunity based sales quotas. This position will provide a high level of customer service to clients and potential customers, reaching business targets through excellent telephones sales and communication skills. Will develop his or her revenue generation through the creation of sales leads, initiation of prospect calls and the establishment of ongoing rapport with existing customers.
Key Responsibility Areas:
Generate business and increase revenues through sales of Canyon’s products and services.
Develop and maintain relationships with key decision makers within an assigned customer base.
Develop marketing / sales plans and objectives that are aligned with the corporations objectives in an effective and efficient manner to maintain the existing client base as well as reach potential customers within the sales territory.
Prospect new customers by soliciting referrals and providing “face time” when ever possible.
Maintain a high level of customer service to existing customers by managing the customer relationship from contract execution to aftersales support.
Group presentation are prepared with accurate and necessary information, ability to adequately and professional respond to questions during a presentation or provide the appropriate follow up in a timely manner.
Bachelors degree in Engineering or Petroleum Technology Diploma.
Current membership in ASET and APEGA an asset.
3 –5 years experience in a similar role.
Possess excellent communication skills.
Previous experience or an aptitude for leadership is essential.
Proven account management experience.
