Reporting the HR Manager the Human Resources Advisor provides day to day human resource advice and guidance to our rapidly growing business. Key Responsibility Areas:
Provide hands on and day to day support and coaching to managers and employees on a wide range of HR issues, including employee relations, performance management, policy development, recruitment, workforce planning and benefits.
Work closely with the HR team to ensure a consistent development and application of HR programs and practices across the organization.
Identify trends and provide constructive and researched solutions in people management and workforce issues.
Work with internal HRIS to ensure proper tracking of employee performance and training.
Participate and/or lead internal employee investigations.
Take an active role in recruitment efforts.
3-5 years Human Resources experience
CHRP designation, or working towards
Degree in Business or Human Resource Management preferred
Current knowledge of applicable legislations
Demonstrated ability to deal with confidential issues in a sensitive professional manner
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills coupled with the ability to interact within all levels of staff
Excellent project, organizational, time and change management skills
Advanced computer and developed writing skills
Ability to understand and apply Situational Leadership principles
Willingness to travel
