Scope of Position
Reporting to the Head of Human Resources, the Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for the development, implementation and management of global human resource policies, programs and systems and for the delivery of the highest quality, timely and cost-effective HR services to client groups and within the HR function.
Leads corporate HR programs and projects through their full lifecycle including assessing needs, sourcing and analyzing delivery options, developing supporting business cases and implementation plans, executing on plans and reporting and measuring ongoing results.
Conducts a continuing study of all human resource policies, programs and practices to keep the organization aligned and informed of new developments and where warranted makes recommendations for changes or enhancements in support of the business strategy.
Manages the implementation and ongoing functionality of an integrated human resources information system and other HR applications.
Leads and/or supports recruitment, talent management, and retention initiatives and programs.
Responsible for the preparation and management of the corporate global HR budget as well as all related ongoing analyses throughout the year.
Works with the HR group to complete on a timely basis the accounting and reporting of HR expenses such as payroll and benefit costs, analyses and submissions.
Provides technical advice, consultative services, support and assistance to line managers.
Develops and maintains business performance metrics related to talent management and workforce planning.
Responds to and/or coordinates the response to various ad-hoc requests for information and analyses.
Satisfies the needs of client groups by the quality and timeliness of contributions (analysis, problem identification and solution, advice and counsel, follow-up, communications and overall impact).
Provides current, direct, complete and “actionable” positive and corrective feedback to others; faces up to people problems on any person or situation quickly and directly; is not afraid to take negative action when necessary.
Works as an integral part of the HR team to provide business driven and client-focused input to HR strategies, policies and programs and to develop consistent approaches on common themes and joint problem solving.
Provides mentorship and guidance as appropriate to other members of the HR team.
Preferred Education & Experience
University degree in Human Resources or Business Management and 10 years of experience in a senior-level generalist HR position.
Strong business-centric approach and philosophy to the delivery of HR programs and initiatives with proven track record in demonstrating value and support to business priorities and detail orientation to tracking and reporting these types of results.
Experience providing HR services and support in a global organization with a focus on technical delivery.
Experience in the design, development and implementation of job evaluation, performance management, salary administration and benefit plans and programs.
Experience in formulating policy and developing and implementing new policies, procedures and programs.
In-depth knowledge of human resources information systems.
Excellent research, problem-solving, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Very strong organization, planning, prioritization, and time management skills with a great sense of urgency and strong results orientation.
Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects.
Excellent analytical and numerical skills needed as well as attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to interface and maintain effective relationships with all departments and employees in a team-oriented environment.
Effective at leading change initiatives and managing in a rapidly changing environment.
Must have the ability to bring immediate credibility to the HR function and to project the highest levels of integrity.

Proficient with change management strategies.
Some travel may be required.
