Brunico Communications Ltd ( is looking for a strong manager with a hands on technical .NET background that has managed a development team with a minimum of 2 years of leadership experience and a minimum of 5 years in a development role; web-based applications experience is a must. Strong .NET MVC, C#, MS SQL, IIS technology knowledge, excellent Object Oriented web application architecture, design and development knowledge, including REST/WEB API/SOA/Web Services/XML/HTML/CSS/JS. We are looking for a hands on lead by example type of manager. Strong verbal and written communication skills are mandatory.

Typical Responsibilities:
Oversees the technical design, development and implementation of multiple, complex, corporate wide systems; manages multiple development projects, development groups and/or application support functions.
Obtain the necessary clarity of the requirements, working with project managers, sponsors and other stakeholders to develop and plan technical strategies; agree upon project priorities and deliver applications that support business requirements, including systems integration testing prior to code release.
Works closely with client departments in development and implementation of application programs; monitors and improves quality; contributes to the development of client strategies at the project level.
Custodian of established architecture, ensuring standards and procedures are adhered to.
Works closely with third party technology vendors to supplement delivery teams; and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
Contributes to the development of industry standards and supports adoption of best practices.
Extends awareness of risks associated with application development and potential impacts, incorporating risk planning and mitigation.
Determines staffing requirements, allocations and selects team members; directs, motivates and develops staff, encouraging individual contributions as well as teamwork.

Experience & Education:
Undergraduate degree in a software development discipline; Graduate degree an advantage.
5-7 years experience as a software developer.
2-3 years leadership experience.

Technical Skills
Strong .NET MVC, C#, Visual Studio, MS SQL, IIS technology knowledge.
Excellent Object Oriented web application architecture, design and development knowledge using relevant contemporary software technology.
Design oversight of mission critical web application environments.
Practical knowledge of REST/WEB API/SOA/Web Services/XML/HTML/CSS/JS.
Strong customer experience focus
Ability to comprehend and contribute to developer, QA and support staff discussions.
