Bruce Power’s 2,300-acre site on the shores of Lake Huron houses the Bruce A and B generating stations, which each hold four CANDU reactors. Six of those units are currently operational and produce more than 4,700 megawatts, which is enough to power one in five hospitals, homes and schools in Ontario.
We are also in the process of restarting the remaining two units at Bruce A, which will provide another 1,500 megawatts of emission-free electricity.
As a corporation, we live each day by a strong and clear set of values that embrace safety, our community, integrity and diversity. You can read more about our values here.
Bruce Power is a partnership among Cameco Corporation, TransCanada Corporation, Borealis Infrastructure (a trust established by the Ontario Municipal Employees Retirement System), The Power Workers’ Union and The Society of Energy Professionals.
We invite you to learn more about Bruce Power on this site and hope that you can visit us. Our Visitors’ Centre has many entertaining exhibits, films and presentations. – less–ZoomInfo
