Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, the Chef works closely with the Camp Manager and kitchen staff.
The Chef is responsible for all kitchen staff and operations, including meal planning/preparation as well as staff scheduling/evaluation/training.
Examples of Duties
-Developing and working within set budgets
-Placing food orders and maintaining proper storage of food inventory and stock rotation
-Maintaining accurate incident reports, casual meal sheets and time sheets and submitting them to Head Office
-Reporting safety infractions to the Camp Manager and Operations Manager
