Director Of Marketing & Business Development -

You will also excel at leading an adaptable, results oriented and customer focused marketing team. This, among other things, entails modifying our marketing discipline, as dictated by the marketplace, while maintaining a focus on the fundamentals that contribute to the Company’s good reputation.

To ensure that our quality standards, customer needs, and shareholder needs are being considered with each opportunity, the Director of Marketing and Business Development will work closely with our senior management team members and external resources; engaging each and drawing on their skill sets.

Candidate Profile:

You possess MEDICAL DEVICE/PHARMACEUTICAL marketing experience, GPO & Buying Group experience, strong analytical skills and the ability to analyze all aspects of a business. Your track record of success demonstrates your understanding of what needs to be considered and includes meeting the ROI expectations.

You bring marketing expertise and can use that methodology in conjunction with business planning to achieve results that help drive and support our sales team. You have experience dealing with senior management and your experience in the medical industry will equip you with the familiarity, knowledge, and network to assist you.

Key requirements:

Willing to Relocate.

Canadian Hospital & Medical Device market experience.

Experience with the Canadian Buying Groups / G.P.O.'s.

A minimum of 10 years’ in management, with strong leadership skills demonstrated at the senior management level, and a minimum of 5 years in marketing.

Knowledge of medical devices (consumable products and capital equipment) suitable for use in hospitals throughout Canada.

Established contacts within the medical device community and relationships that aid in understanding both customer and supplier needs.

A professional, respectful and results-oriented demeanor.

A strong business acumen and analytical abilities.
