Territory Business Manager (Former Employee), Southern CaliforniaJune 7, 2014
Pros: great products and team culture.
Cons: competitive
This company is does things the right way from R&D to marketing and disease state education. The Number 1 and number 3 leading causes of death remain the same over the last 3 decades and the cardiovascular contribution that BMS has made in this arena is second to none. Truly a life changing career experience.

Associate Director, Financial Planning & Analysis (Current Employee), Princeton, NJJune 5, 2014
A typical day at work involves running from meeting to meeting and keeping up with multiple deadlines driven by some very demanding clients. Hard work, but very rewarding when you later see the outcome of your work

Great Pay, no Benefits. One troublesome coworker that I felt management could have done more to deal with. Other than that I was very happy until my contract ended.

Pros: good people

Overall it is a good place to work because of the people, challenging place to work at times. Would think about recommending to others in the later part of their working careers.

Validation Technician II (Quality) (Current Employee), West Chester, OHApril 20, 2014
Pros: great pay and benefits
Cons: crazy management expectations and no voice for lower level employees.
I began working at Amylin Pharma before BMS bought us out. They turned right around and sold us to AstraZeneca in a few months. In the time I was there, the company was good but the political decisions and management were very secretive.

Data Entry (Former Employee), Wallingford, CTApril 16, 2014
As a science major, working at a pharmaceutical company was beneficial because it is an environment I would like to work for later. Typical day consisted of sitting on a computer entering in patient information. Entering & transferring data from multiple phase studies. The environment was welcoming and amazing co-workers. Helped me learn about how things – more... work within the pharmaceutical environment. – less

Just another one in the crowd
Document Controller (Former Employee), Hopewell, NJApril 3, 2014
Shall I compare thee to a summer's day?
Thou art more lovely and more temperate:
Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May,
And summer's lease hath all too short a date:
Sometime too hot the eye of heaven shines,
And often is his gold complexion dimm'd;
And every fair from fair sometime declines,
By chance, or nature's changing course, untrimm'd;
But – more... thy eternal summer shall not fade
Nor lose possession of that fair thou ow'st;
Nor shall Death brag thou wander'st in his shade,
When in eternal lines to time thou grow'st;
So long as men can breathe or eyes can see,
So long lives this, and this gives life to thee. – less
