The successful candidate will be a motivated self-starter with several years of “tire-related” sales experience. The individual will bring their expertise to fleet solicitations, evaluations and inspections. The candidate’s background includes a record of achievement and a history of increasing responsibility. Creativity, organization, managing and developing dealer business in the territory while increasing fleet, retread and small off the road (SOTR) sales in the territory, is an important aspect of this position. This also includes meeting and exceeding a wide variety of customer service expectations.
A successful candidate will have a college diploma or university degree from an accredited institution (preferably business/marketing); 3-4 years of progressively responsible tire related sales experience; proven sales ability; ability to work unsupervised; excellent interpersonal skills; flexibility to travel frequently over week nights and weekends to visit assigned accounts; attend special dealer events and required sales meetings; team-player approach; ability to display professional conduct and communicate effectively; strong negotiation, prioritization, and organization skills.
