We are currently looking for an experienced Petroleum Economist for our E&P client . The position will sit within the Economics function and duties will include:
Responsibilities include: teaching and coaching a E&P professionals, focusing on the following topics

  • Economic modelling of Transportation and Processing Contracts
  • Economic and Financial Analysis of the E.ON E&P planning cycles - GSAs, tariff and cost share calculations
  • Commercial due diligence
  • Peer Reviews - Economic evaluation and presentation
  • Existing E&A portfolio analysis and ranking
  • Bid Evaluation for Licence rounds
  • New Ventures activities with economic analysis e.g. Farm-ins
  • Business Development with evaluations for acquisitions or disposal activities
  • Project Analysis
  • Partner and Operator Evaluation Analysis
  • Project Development Concept Selection Evaluations
  • Screening Economics
  • Preparation and presentation of economics for internal/external audit and review

Producing Assets

  • Management, calculation and implementation of gas contract pricing and transportation and processing tariff model
  • Supporting Commercial Evaluations e.g. GSA Renegotiation, Cost Share, Abandonment liability, Decommissioning provision
  • Long and medium term planning economics and analysis
  • Risk analysis
  • decision analysis
