The Brant Community Healthcare System, formed in 1999, supports programs and services provided by its two facilities, the Brantford General Hospital in Brantford, Ontario and the Willett Hospital in Paris, Ontario.
The Brantford General is a regional health centre providing emergency care, critical care, medical and surgical services, obstetrics/ gynaecology, paediatric, complex continuing care, palliative care, mental health, rehabilitation, diagnostic imaging and ambulatory care. Brantford General is the home of the S.C. Johnson Dialysis Clinic, the Brant Community Cancer Clinic, and the Wescast Centre for Ambulatory Care and is a designated regional stroke centre. An $80-million expansion will provide for up to 350 inpatient beds and state-of-the-art medical technology. The Willett, Paris is a multi-service health centre providing urgent care, primary care and community outreach programs. The Brant Community Healthcare System was awarded the inaugural 'Employer of the Year' Award by the Ontario Registered Practical Nurses Association and the 'Healthy Workplace Award' by the Brant County Health Unit.
