Responsibilities:

  • Develop residential mortgage business by growing and cultivating a referral network leveraging lead generation tools with the assistance of an Area Manager
  • Establish business relationships with external business such as real estate firms, brokers, lawyers, accountants, professional etc. as well as partnering with their Retail Distribution Branches
  • Responsible for interviewing and taking mortgage applications
  • Actively promoting Creditor Insurance products

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 – 3 years in proven sales in a commission based position – mortgage, credit, insurance or investment sales would be an asset however will train in mortgage business
  • Track record of successfully exceeding sales targets and identified business growth opportunities in the past
  • Existing referral network in place
  • Well-developed time management skills and able to manage priorities
  • Able to meet clients at times and locations (branch offices are available) that are convenient which could include some evenings and weekends
  • Effective communication and verbal/written skills

Compensation:

  • 100% Commission (no cap), bonuses based on volume and trailer fees with a guaranteed 12 month draw structure

  • Operates in a Home Based office with provision of a laptop and 1-800 phone number as well as mileage allowance
