The Customer Service Representative (CSR) will be responsible for the provision of professional, quality customer service through effective use of organizational and managerial skills, product knowledge, administration and operational skills. The CSR is responsible to ensure the timely processing of customer orders, manage price, delivery, order quantities and liaise with Operations internally to ensure all activities are carried out on time and quality to meet the customer’s expectations. The CSR must solve problems, make informed decisions and manage Customer concerns wisely in order to achieve maximum results.
Coordinate to ensure the customer’s demands are reflected in the system accurately.
Manage order quantities, lead times and returns as required.
Ensure timely feedback is given to customers based upon status and delivery of parts.
Utilize/manipulate reports to ensure orders are tracked to meet customer delivery dates.
Highlight issues impeding delivery and make contingency plans where necessary.
Handle all customer issues and complaints and find resolutions.
Liaise with Production Planners to expedite parts on the shop floor where necessary.
Assist customers with standard account-related requests.
Research and resolve customer problems, acting as the customer liaison when necessary.
Escalate issues as required.
Update customer portals.
All other duties as assigned
BS/BA in Business, Administration, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum three (3) years’ experience in expediting, purchasing, scheduling, or customer support role working within a manufacturing environment
Experience with ERP business system required.
Effective computer skills; Microsoft Office
Superior communication skills both verbally and in writing with superiors, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the Company
Aerospace experience is an asset
