Safety (Former Employee), Ontario – August 25, 2015
Cons: Too many
Am very happy to be done! No time off, called back to work early from any time off. Very young inexperienced management team. Safety entirely a paper based culture. Completely unorganized organization. Very much a favoritism attitude. Workers work very hard and do a great job but there is never any positive reinforcement
Civil Superintendent (Former Employee), Toronto, ON – December 28, 2014
Pros: free fridays lunches
Cons: needed more days off than 4 on turn around
This was a very fast pace job loved it. I learned that not every one likes wind mill construction Young management team learning Great co-workers Dealing with land owners Making the land owners happy and getting along with everyone
Foreman (Current Employee), The Zoo – August 14, 2014
Pros: pay is ok
Cons: extremely inexperienced management on the wind projects
I currently work for Borea but hopefully not for much longer. Safety is not even part of managements plan, every week there is a payment issue with someone in my crew. Safety & inspection documents have been constantly forged. Zero training is provided for new employees. Most of the Superintendents working on the six pack have only 1 or 2 projects experience if you are lucky. I don't understand how this company hasn't been nailed to the wall by MOL, it's only a matter of time I guess.
