Public Relations Manager (1-3 year contract)
Working within a globally renowned technology company you will create strategic vision and thought leadership for the external image of our client's brand, products and programs with media, analysts, end-users, partners, academics, government officials, community agencies and other influential constituencies. You will also be responsible for driving internal communications and message creation, training and execution.
Nature of Assignment: 1 year to begin. Renewal option every year for a max. of 3 years.
Hours: 9-5pm Monday to Friday. There may be a time when extra hours will be required but lieu time will provide balance.
Must-Have's: Candidates with formal training in Project Management, Written and Oral Communications, Media Training, and who have a strong Social Media presence will be given strong consideration.
The PR Manager is responsible for driving game changing media results for our client?s products and services. Working with Marketing Management and an experienced PR team, the Public Relations/Communications Manager communicates the value of products and services through various media and digital approaches to consumers and commercial customers. You will serve as the main point of contact to the Marketing and Business Group for direction and guidance around PR Strategy, Messaging and the quality of external and internal facing communications for specific products and overall brand perception.
The PR Manager will work with Business Group Marketing, Subsidiary PR Lead, Citizenship, Marketing and Operations leads in a subsidiary region or group to develop Communications strategy and plans for specific products or services. This includes: strategy for driving perception changing media coverage and top stories; strategy for digital PR techniques, strategy for Senior Management outreach and activities; competitive strategies, creation of effective media training and managing all subsidiary PR agency(s).
You will drive strategy for engaging with top tier media, online influencers and maintain relationships with key journalists. The PR Manager will manage local subsidiary corporate social/digital media platforms and work with team to set direction and strategy with regards to usage and messaging across all social media platforms. You will manage all resources at PR Agency and manage budget for subsidiary or business group PR related to products and services represented in this role.

- 3-5 years of proven and solid PR experience.

- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing and/or Communications.
