The Parts Counter Associate reports to the Parts Manager and plays a vital role in consistently providing superior service at our Branch and is the key customer contact for advising and distributing parts.
-Coordinate daily functions of the parts and warehouse operations including procuring, ordering, backorders, inventory counts, stocking, parts picking, hydraulic hose building, credits and core processing for internal and external customers
-Process email, phone orders and parts sales over the counter
-Process shipping and receiving of equipment and attachments
-Process all core returns and warranty parts
-Ensure customers' needs are met in an efficient, knowledgeable and professional manner
-Participate in safe work and environmentally sound behaviours and objectives at all times in support of Bobcat of Toronto's Safety Policy/Program(s) and best practices
-Post Secondary education and 2+ years experience on a construction equipment, truck or automotive parts counter/inside sales
-Technical/mechanical aptitude and/or licensed/background in construction equipment, truck equipment or automotive
-Customer centric with strong interpersonal skills and relationship building capacity
-Exceptional communication and organizational skills
-Ability to effectively prioritize and adapt in a fast-paced environment
-Self-starter, independent and a team player with a sense of urgency
-Computer and systems literate with proficiency
-Must be willing and able to work flexible hours during normal business hours (7am-6pm) in support of business needs
