Drilling Services Zone Contracts Administrator
Administers activities involving the acceptance and monitoring of contracts and sub-contracts between the company and customers / vendors. Reviews and analyzes contract documents to determine contractual obligations. Tracks company performance against original proposal and maintains continual reviews to ensure that all terms and conditions are met, and that drill log data accurately reflect all billable activity and items. Administers the preparation and dissemination of information within the department regarding contract progress, status, compliance, modification, deviation and termination. May assist with the analysis of a contract as needed.
+ Ensure daily drill report data entered into Oracle accurately and on a timely basis
+ Ensure daily drill report entry is consistent with relevant contract terms
+ In concert with Zone Contracts Manager, ensure that any changes to the contract terms are accurately reflected in drill report entry
+ Possess a detailed understanding of expenses incurred when mobilizing, warehousing and purchasing for contracts under his/her jurisdiction.
+ Regularly communicate with field operations to ensure that contracts are being efficiently executed to the customer’s satisfaction.
+ Work closely and collaboratively with the invoicing department to ensure the Company charges everything that is allowed under the contract. Review Daily Drill Reports (DDR’s) with the invoicing department.
+ Be familiar with the Zone’s and any contract-specific safety incentive programs
+ Make recommendations for improvement to Financial Statements, Invoicing and Reporting systems.
+ Assist with financial forecasting and budgeting.
+ Bachelor degree; or diploma in a related field; or appropriate certification. Relevant experience strongly considered.
+ Demonstrated experience in contract negotiation, finance, engineering, operations, or drilling.
+ Effective project management.
+ Sound business planning.
+ Excellent communication skills, written and verbal. Works collaboratively across the organization.
+ Effective time and priority management.
+ Computer literate (MS Office).
