Customer Service Rep (Former Employee) – Grande Prairie Ab – 5 March 2014
Loved the people I worked with, as for branch manager she is a terrible person I was going threw a very hard time at one point and they do not care at all.. The targets you have to reach are absolutely ridiculous and if you don't meet them your treated like your not good enough.. as for time off you can kiss that goodbye without them looking down on you.. all in all loved my job hated who I worked for!! they break you down emotionally and you will end up leaving...
Desktop Specialist (Former Employee) – Calgary, AB – 15 August 2017
BMO Capital Markets is one of the best places I've worked in. Some projects required overtime, but the family-like bonded team always succeeded in any unrealistic deadlines by working together. Managment is very understanding of all the roles in the team and always ready to offer a helping hand.
Customer Service Representative II (Former Employee) – Montréal, QC – 5 August 2017
Don't try and ask for more money, your service means nothing. Find another field, banking isnt always a great way to make a living for a woman. I worked in the mortgage department handling the legal papers from different lawyers. Verifying and inputting data, and retrieving missing information. 5 managers in 5 years too much turn overs, no consistency. Hardest part of job was working in French culture and speaking french all day, exhausting. Most enjoyable part of job, baking cakes the for birthdays.
Portfolio Support Officer (Former Employee) – Toronto, ON – 4 August 2017
Typical working experience in a 9 - 5 job Lack of overall job satisfaction but with stable income Not a very innovated company but people (co-workers) are very friendly and willing to coach younger staff members
Manager (Former Employee) – Toronto, ON – 4 August 2017
My brief time was highlighted by getting a great deal of experience especially from a technical perspective. Everyone was very helpful when I first started and I was given flexibility to attend to family matters.
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT & MARKETING ASSISTANT (Current Employee) – Mississauga, ON – 4 August 2017
The atmosphere is pleasant with collaborative colleagues. Management is approachable. Work-life balance is standard, but fairly flexible. The culture is average, but there has been growth in this area recognizing the need for mutual support and recognition.
Service Specialist (Current Employee) – Toronto, ON – 3 August 2017
Repetitive processing but you can get involved in process improvement projects once you get the hang of the day to day tasks. Operations allows you to learn a lot about the "behind the scenes" process and can lead to more advanced roles in the back office opportunities in the front office with valuable process experience.
Good starting salary and awesome recruitment staff.
Customer Service Representative Part time (Former Employee) – Canmore, AB – 2 August 2017
Schedule is not that early and not too late to finish. I have learned that a big company such as this cannot offer quality training. Management needs proper leadership skills and work place etiquette. There are many times that there are arguments between my boss and the client. Entry level positions needs to be valued some more in actions, not just words on job offer and virtual classrooms. Workplace culture is quite intense in the branch that I have worked.
The best part of the job is giving treats to client's pets. There are also occasional free food, tshirts and team dinner.
Vacation leave request issues, breaks are mostly not observed, you were asked to sell products and services that you were not trained well.
