Working alone most times, visuals, unfairness in the workplace
Shift Leader (Current Employee) – Leader, SK – 8 May 2017
I learned a lot of customer service techniques as well as how to handle the different situations that may arise.
A typical day at work includes: counting the tills, receiving stock, transferring product out to other stores, tagging product, doing visuals (creating new fun looks for the store sent from our emails that we must follow, customer service, opening and closing of the store.
The hardest part of the job is that it is a very unfair workplace to work in, the manager is able to do/get away with the things that they get mad at all the other employees for. Has a very one sided mind. I also dislike working alone most days as they like to find things to do in the back for long periods of the day, I've learnt to work alone anyways and have become very independent from it. There are also not enough employees trained on tills for lunch breaks some days.
The most enjoyable part of the job is helping to make customers feel good with themselves and the product they have chose to buy.
