Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you posses the ability to jump from the creative side of marketing to the analytical side, while being able to demonstrate why your ideas are analytically sound. You understand social media universe like the back of your hand. Your Klout score is impressive and you get what it means to shoulder the communication of a brand.

The Social Media coordinator will develop content, help moderate and inspire promotional communications via company specific online platforms to encourage the exchange of user-generated content. The successful candidate will need to be able to manage social media elements to foster interaction, education, engagement and discussion regarding the company's brands and services through the use of online communities. You will be responsible for managing, updating and enhancing our social media platforms (Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest, LinkedIn and more) through creative efforts.

Responsibilities for the role include -- but are not limited to -- the following:

Create value content for our blog & website that is informative, relevant, current and congruent with company philosophies
Responsible for coordination of development, and creativity to social media resources
Serve as the initial point of contact for inbound requests on online company digital properties (company Twitter pages) and the web at large
Be able to identify, analyze issues, patterns and trends in client requests about services
Disseminate above information to the appropriate internal department so that they can respond accordingly
Monitor and participate in online conversation via posts to build brand visibility and thought leadership
Author blog posts, articles, videos and microblogs (or relevant media)
Monitor media channels on a daily basis or as needed for content issues
Execute initiatives to drive member -- generated content, increase community participation and add value to the online community experience
Identify and drive opportunities for intersecting online community features with potential partners
Provide tracking and metrics to communicate community activity weekly through reporting
Assist in coordinating special events as necessary
Skills:

Able to work effectively in a high paced, multi-tasking environment
Excel at research, and ability to create editorial and technical writing output quickly and efficiently
Experience sourcing and managing content development and publishing
Dedicated to bogging, micro-blogging and understand the power of feed marketing (RSS)
Demonstrated creativity and documented immersion in social media including your Klout score
Discretion to identify threats and opportunities in user generated content
Have excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to work individually on a project or in a team environment
Eager to meet and exceeds objectives and take on more responsibility
Outstanding organizational skills
Ability to communication results to management
Willingness & ability to take direction
Excellent verbal & written communication skills, proofreading skills
Ability to create new materials while following brand guidelines and messaging strategy
Qualifications and Skills

Bachelors degree preferred
Minimum 3 years related digital communication experience
Maintain a personal mix of participatory expertise in social media channels
Ability to meet multiple deadlines, work independently and in a timely manner
