We are a Financial Service Firm looking for a Full Time Bookkeeper to cover one year maternity Leave. We are a positive, growing, fast paced organization.

Terms of Employment: Full-Time Maternity Coverage- Contract
Wage: $/Hour depending on qualifications
Hours: Flexible
Location: Brampton, Ontario

Requirements:

  • High energy and driven to succeed personally and in the work environment
  • Tax preparation, accounting experience
  • Previous experience in QuickBooks
  • Must be professional
  • Attention to detail is crucial
  • Ability to multi task in fast paced environment
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Excellent organizational skills and time management
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with computer technology and strong knowledge of Microsoft office
  • T2 experience an asset but not required

Description: Tax Prep & Bookkeeping

  • Personal and Business tax returns
  • Assess business financials for opportunities and shortfalls
  • Normal Bookkeeping for clients
  • Maintenance and totalling of revenue and expenses
  • Reconciliation of Bank Statements
  • A/P, A/R
  • Payroll remittances and HST Returns
  • Vendor & customer files, invoicing
