Marketing Manager

Looking for a permanent full-time marketing manager at Binary Information Technology Ltd. in Mississauga, ON
Salary/Hours

  • $70,000 per annum
  • 40 hours/week

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Identify potential markets for the company’s products and services
  • Oversee new product introductions
  • Determine prices by calculating raw material and production costs, and then adding the percent markups
  • Develop pricing strategies, balancing firm objectives and customer satisfaction
  • Direct the hiring, training, and performance evaluations of marketing and sales staff and oversee their daily activities
  • Consult with buying personnel to gain advice regarding the types of products or services expected to be in demand
  • Review and manage the all-over companies’ performance and organizing and arranging the administrative matters of the company to improve work efficiency and effectiveness
  • Developing and communicating cooperative goals and results to personnel; selecting, supervising, and supporting the employee team; and upholding cooperative policies
  • Establishing and achieving sales and profitability goals, and increasing the cooperative’s market share through regular sales efforts
  • Manage the company’s financials, costs and cash flow
  • Provide and apply policies and procedures to insure transparency and facilitate workflow
  • Reviewing and analyzing finance and management reports for organizing and assisting in strategic decisions an planning of the company

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing or a related field required
  • 2-5 years of experience in the sales and marketing field
  • Demonstrated ability to increase productivity and continuously improve methods, approaches, and departmental contribution
  • Strong effective communicator
  • Highly developed teamwork skills
  • Highly computer literate
  • Expert in Internet and social media strategy
  • Ability to lead in an environment of constant change
  • Familiarity and skill with the tools of the trade in marketing including PR, written communication, website development, market research, product packaging, Microsoft software suite of products, visual communication software products, and creative services
  • Ability to speak Arabic is an asset
