The CEO position for BBBSOLA is an outstanding opportunity for a seasoned and energetic leader to continue to build the momentum, growth and impact of Big Brothers Big Sisters while providing strategic leadership with the overriding goal of ensuring that the organization delivers on its mission and achieves the strategic goals outlined in its strategic plan.
Reporting to the Board of Directors, the CEO is responsible for the successful management and development of the organization. The ideal candidate will possess a post-secondary degree/diploma and at least eight years of executive level management in a not-for-profit organization. He or she will have a proven track record in previous leadership positions and have core competencies in board and donor development, fundraising, risk management and all areas of business operations. The ideal candidate will have, experience in public speaking, and a track record of establishing & maintaining collaborations with community organizations and resources. The CEO is responsible for the effective management, service delivery & advancement of the organization.
The position requires excellent written & oral communication skills, social media knowledge & skills as well as a demonstrated track record of success in performance to budgets & goals.
