As a result of our continued growth, we are seeking talented Inside Sales Representatives with proven sales success to join our team of exceptional Benefits Sales Representatives.
The Benefits Sales Representative will be responsible for the monthly achievement of sales revenue goals facilitated through outbound phone calls to targeted accounts in order to provide benefits solutions delivered through competitive pricing, quality service and in-depth product knowledge.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
Cold-calling of prospects that are generated by external lead sources or BD's sister company’s clients/prospect referrals in order to generate new members/sales
Penetration of all targeted accounts; radiating sales from within the client base
Provision of accurate and knowledgeable information regarding the company’s specific products and solutions; highlighting benefits and cost-savings
Meet or exceed established targets such as sales and metrics
Effectively overcome objections of prospective customers
Provision of accurate price quotes, discussion of credit terms and preparation of sales order forms and reports
Effective management of company prospects through the entire sales cycle
Exceptional record-keeping and updating of all existing and prospective accounts
University degree or diploma preferred. In lieu of a degree or diploma an acceptable combination of education and experience will be considered
Previous inside sales experience required; cold calling experience considered an asset
Proven experience in meeting and exceeding sales targets
Insurance industry knowledge considered an asset
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated negotiation and problem solving expertise
A drive to exceed and a willingness to continually learn and develop professionally
Compensation is based upon a lucrative commission structure and ranges from $50-100,000 per year based upon the employee’s drive and performance. A competitive benefits package will also be provided following the completion of the probationary period.
