The Human Resources Advisor will provide a wide variety of Human Resources support to the plant. This includes labour relations, employee relations, hourly recruitment, layoffs, recalls, job postings, orientations, benefits and pension administration.
This role will be responsible for all Human Resource activities for hour employees; including recruiting, attendance, payroll, benefits & pension plan administration and Labour Relations. We are looking for someone with a strong Employee Relations background, to liaise regularly with shop floor staff, providing day to day counseling and support as required.
Experience with SAP in relation to H.R. activites and strong computer skills are required.
Probide back-up to Reception as required.
Post-secondary degree or diploma in related discipline required and either completion or working towards a post graduate HR specialization program CHRP designation. Looking for someone with at least 3 - 5 years Plant H.R. experience would be an asset.
