Beaver County is seeking a creative and enthusiastic individual to lead the County’s communications department. The Communications Coordinator is responsible for internal and external stakeholder communications as well as various marketing and promotional initiatives. Qualifications for the position include a post-secondary degree in marketing, communications, or public relations or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Excellent communication and public relations skills are essential. Prior municipal experience is an asset.
This position will work out of the County Service Centre in Ryley, and hours of work will generally be 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, although some evening or weekend work may be necessary. A clean driver’s abstract is required. Beaver County is committed to a safe and healthy workplace.
Salary range is $67,130 - $81,674. A comprehensive health-care benefits package will be offered.
