A typical day was to recruit contract resources, schedule evaluation with Project manager and communicate with firms / suppliers. Once hired, coordinate the technicians and IT department to install all equipment, software, access. Make sure the resource get a access security card, documents and so on. Also, take care of weekend access to the building for employees and answer any questions regarding their contracts and HR infos. Plan and move resources from building or floors to the other, from one project to the other. Learned how to manage 150 resources, use MS Project, SharePoint and EPM. Everyone very independent, hard to manage everything when no one really knows what to do, needed to be a very resourceful person and also write all job process. So great to have the opportunity to work with really smart and hard working people.
