Bayshore Home Health is currently seeking Community Support Workers to work with Acquired Brain Injury clients in the Richmond area.

Terms of Employment: Casual, On Call, Shift, Weekend, Day, Night, Evening - Must be able to cover the following shifts: Saturday 1500-1830; Monday 1500-1900 and Tuesday 1000-1900 with the possibility for more shifts.

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Location: Richmond

Completion of high school, Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training, some university, Completion of university
Credentials (certificates, licenses, memberships, courses, etc.)Social Service Worker (SSW) Diploma, Community Support Worker (CSW) Diploma

-Own vehicle, valid driver's license

-Criminal record check (abstract), Driver's validity license check, Current TB Test and Registration with BC Care Aide Registry

-Transportation/Travel Information

Experience: ABI Experience is considered an asset

Languages: Speak English, (MUST be fluent in Cantonese)

Must be able to:

Work Well Independently and within a Team

Prepare Food

Perform Physical Tasks (ie. Assisting, lifting, supporting)

Work in a fast-paced environment and work under pressure

Essential Skills:
Reading text, Writing, Oral communication, Problem solving, Critical thinking
