Please note that I am hiring candidates for the position of Project Manager - Capital Markets for a reputable client based in Downtown - Toronto. It's a full time permanent role, excellent scope of growth.
Duties
Managing IT business development projects, including all phases of the SDLC;
Champion for IT project governance process;
Performing all aspects of Project Management, following IT and Financial industry best practices;
Participating in corporate/departmental initiatives as required;
Occasional travel may be required.
Skills & Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of Project Management experience;
PMP Designation preferred;
Completion or intention to complete the Canadian Securities Course;
Experience within the Financial Services Industry, specific to Capital Market;
Experience in Research, Sales and Trading and CRM in Capital Market area is an asset
Coordination of activity between Capital Maket and IT on regular basis
Acting as SME in some business areas mentioned above to drive projects and requests from the business
Ability to effectively manage concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment;
Advanced MS Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project);
Experience with implementing paperless back-office initiatives an asset;
Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure;
Ability to work with employees and clients at all levels is essential;
