Communication with management is absent, some of them have a second job, example, my ex superior is a real estate agent... it is now known within the company so co worker just dont care anymore, some others are doing the same taking advantage of the expense accounts, car, gas, time of the company to fulfill the other occupations, it is sad to see.

I started my professional career in BASF aorund 2 years before. I have learnt many things in this job. As I am responsible for technical sales for polyurethane system for northern region of Pakistan. This give me exposure & technical knowledge.

Technical sales is more advance than simple sale. It grooms me technically & commerically.

nothing at the workplace is hard to do, but it does take time to learn the different procedures for each job.

My first shift job. Started as straight shift fitter(mechanic) Got to learn plant quickly as it was easy SCADA which made fault finding easy. MCC3 and MCC4 catalyst coating machines are priority. Later on we installed a MCC6 coating machine along with CSF lines. Our management could focus a little better on our production side and also on maintenance, – more... but as a fairly new plant we strive to get to our goals.

There isn't hard work here, but its best you focus properly when working on equipment. These machinery can be delicate and its best to know how it operates before trying to repair it.

Most enjoyable part must be the satisfaction of knowing how to repair these machines. – less

Worked as a contractor with many if not more responsibilities than some full time employees but was not able to get hired. Great atmosphere to work within as many of the managers allow their employees to handle their responsibilities without micro-managing. We have no holiday pay, do not get any vacation time or sick days. We do not get raises. What you agree to in your interview is all you get no matter how long you work for them. I have learned how to adjust the color of paint by adding tint paste and pigment. I have learned how to adjust the viscosity of paint and primers. My mannager is almost never – more... at work. So I have gotten alot better at self supervising and finding things to keep me busy. I get along with my coworkers. The hardest part of my job is never getting to spend time with my kids because I am always at work. I cant think of a most enjoyable part pf my job. – less
