Receptionist/ Administrative Assistant, Edmonton, AB - 13 November 2012
A typical day at work would involve helping customers, answering and redirecting calls, taking messages, data entry, advertising and basic administrative support. I learned how a dealership is run and how to make certain areas of a business run more smoothly. The management is well structured and knowledgeable when help is needed. The co-workers aren't as appreciative as they should be, and rely too much on others completing their tasks. The hardest part of this job is helping co-workers with their job when they aren't 100% sure of what they are doing. The most enjoyable part of this job would be helping customers and the simplicity of data entry helps with making multi-tasking easier.
