Description: Collect survey field data using GPS and conventional survey equipment in a wilderness and industrial environment. Layout required features as directed by the Professional Geologist, Prospector and/or project superintendent/Engineer. Complete all required office calculations and be responsible for the input and output of the Survey/Mapping department.
Have +5 years’ experience as a Surveyor, and have experience in a supervisory role.
Have proficiency with Autocad, Microsurvey, Excel, Mapinfo.
Have strong experience using atv/snowmobile(s), 4x4 as well as walking short to long distances in mountainous adverse terrain carrying various objects.
Have the ability to collect, download and process data. Relate to various systems, and create maps and plans to satisfy the needs of company departments and production.
Have experience with RTK and various electronic total stations.
Have the ability to pass a drug and alcohol test.
This position requires a skilled, fit and experienced individual in the field of Geomatics and outdoor exploration.
