Typical day at work includes preventative maintenance on skid steer units, repair and replace hydraulic components including hydraulic pumps and cylinders and shop cleanliness. Learned how to diagnose problems from fuel to hydraulic, learned to remove hydraulic cylinders, pumps, and diesel engine as well as track and track frame removal , replacement and repair. Management is good and well organized, keeps an eye on employees to ensure work is being done properly and according to proper time, co-workers know how to have fun while being organized and maintaining good working speed. Hardest part of the job is heavy lifting and diagnosing. most enjoyable part is unit testing and satisfaction of successfully repairing units making customers really happy.
