Manager - Production & Supply Planning
Bank & Vogue Ltd is a group of companies focused on the trade, production and retailing of used clothing including high quality vintage, retro fashions through its stores located Europe and available internationally online through beyondretro.com.
Our business continues to grow and we are creating a new position of Manager, Production & Supply Planning reporting to the current Product Manager to take the lead on all facets of production with a specific focus on our current and future eCommerce retail businesses.

Responsibilities will include:
Production Planning – using your strong data analysis skills, you will understand the scope and complexity of our supply chain including product demand, inventory development and will use this knowledge and understanding to support the development and management of the planning process. You will be accountable for all work flow planning, maintenance and production metrics.
Inventory Management – You will organize an efficient inventory program ensuring optimization of stock levels at all of our supply locations. You will track and interpret the performance of key performance indicators in inventory management and production, identifying opportunities for improvement and developing sourcing and production strategies to anticipate growth and capacity constraints. You will also establish the optimal stock and “safe” stock levels given your understanding of our supply needs with input from other team members.
Inter-Department Liaison – with multiple “departments” working towards the same goal of
maximizing sales and the customer experience, you will bring the “voice of production and planning” to the table with your colleagues to resolve issues and ensure that all production targets are met within time and budget by reviewing sales forecasts and understanding order fluctuations that would affect lead times and back-orders.
Performance Management & Improvement – you will apply your project management capabilities to identify, develop and implement techniques to improve productivity, increase efficiencies, mitigate risks, resolve issues and optimize cost savings. This will also include the planning of production and resource schedules. You will also work with our production facilities to schedule routine equipment maintenance to ensure continuity of production and minimal down-time
Staff Development – You will manage all production resources and activities including recruitment. Your leadership will set the standard for performance goals and develop a culture of continuous improvement. You will recommend improvements for production methods, operating procedures, health and safety and work conditions.
Experience and Qualities
- Minimum 3 years of experience of proven operational planning roles or related function including management of a team
- Strong analytical and computing skills
- Ability to motivate and lead a team from a distance
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to work under pressure to deadlines
- Ability to make recommendations to Executives and make decisions on a day to day basis
- Experience in the Retail industry a strong asset
- Ability to travel as required including a valid driver’s license and passport.
