Housekeer (Former Employee) – Banff, AB – 23 September 2017
It was a good hotel and nice co- workers. Staff events were fun. Some free food, free break fast, left over food, cakes, fruits. Cheap staff meal. Staff accommodation conditions were getting worst. Hard to get single room.
Great work environment, friendly staff, fair managed business.
Housekeeper (Current Employee) – Banff, AB – 14 September 2015
Fast-paced, isolated individual work. Support and understanding from fellow housekeepers forming friendships. Great staff throughout hotel. Selfish CEO management which reflects through managers and supervisors. This is expected of such a competitive and money-hungry line of business. Being able to work in the Rockies as a traveler on a working visa is very much a privilege and the people you meet along the way and experiences make this journey well worthwhile.
staff accommodation, Winter ski hill subsidy
unfairly treated and taken advantage of for being an efficient and effective worker.
Banquet Server (Former Employee) – Banff, AB – 18 November 2014
Setting up the venue for the said event; carrying tables, chairs, plates, utensils and folded napkins. Taking notes if any of the guest have a certain allergy or request. Co workers are easy to work with and you can feel the welcome from them. Serving plated dinners. Setting up the buffet. Getting plates, utensils and table napkins after the event. Serving wine, coffee and tea if needed.
Restaurant Supervisor (Current Employee) – Banff, AB – 21 January 2014
The Banff Park Lodge is a great place to work. Only things with the hotel restaurant dis that their is too many coupons coming trough the door and each one has it's own settlement code it gets to be a bit too much. The Management is friendly and always willing to help out and the co-workers are willing to go the extra mile for you.
