POSITION SUMMARY
- Reporting to the General Manager, the Site Executive is a leadership role in the execution of the company's overall manufacturing service mandate
- Serve in an active and visible role through excellent customer relationship and supplier management
- Positively contribute to the performance of the business by engendering a culture of customer care and continuous improvement
- Be a change agent within the organization who can motivate others, demonstrate sound judgment and grow the business for a 24hour/7-day operation

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Author and implement the annual Site Operating Strategic Plan
- Oversee operations through carefully planning, ensuring work is done safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards
- Comply with safety and relevant company and client policies generating a true health and safety culture
- Ensure a continuous improvement process is integral to service delivery
- Management of customer interface at the site and ensuring a high profile in the running of the site
- Support customer and company audits ensuring optimum results are achieved
- Facilitate regular customer interaction through meetings with key stakeholders complemented with focused and meaningful report-outs
- Communicate with, manage and motivate people at all levels, from staff to sub-contractors
- Maintain a consistent strong link with customers, guaranteeing appropriate and responsive reaction to address client concerns
- Ensure a positive working relationship is maintained with the Union and subcontractors
- Lead, recruit, develop and retain staff to deliver services in the most efficient and effective manner
- Set objectives for direct reports and review as required, ensuring same approach and mechanisms for all staff within area of responsibility
- Enhance systems to ensure appropriate control over all critical service points, to maximize customer satisfaction, minimize customer complaints and other adverse feedback
- Analyze budgetary information to assist in annual and monthly forecasting processes
- Develop profitable growth of the business through understanding client needs, maximizing the services delivered and championing excellent customer care

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND EDUCATION
- A post-secondary technical or business degree or equivalent experience; Engineering or Manufacturing Operations University degree preferred
- A minimum of 10-15 years of progressive experience in manufacturing operations, and with a track record of growing business operations
- Data-driven with strong analytical skills
- Able to solve complex problems
- Attention to detail and disciplined follow-up
- Able to build excellence in teams and motivate others to achieve results
- Able to provide training and project coaching to site leadership
- Decisive leader who builds effective teams utilizing exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- A highly collaborative leader who works across all levels of the organization, creating partnership and alliances with both internal and external stakeholders
