Currently we are looking for highly motivated and energetic individual to join our team as an Freelance Technical Recruiter (part-time position) in the Greater Toronto Area. The role is responsible for the successful recruitment of technical positions in IT, engineering, project controls, and project management fields.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Determine applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications and by meeting with managers to discuss the needs
Able to utilize your own recruiting strategies, networks and tools to identify potential candidates within a 2 to 3 -week timeframe once the job description has been finalized
Identify/implement new recruiting channels to get the candidates required
Responsible for initial phone screening candidates to ensure their qualifications meet open positions
Determine applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants; analyzing responses;; comparing qualifications to job requirements
Coordinate interview with the managers
EXPERIENCE:
2 to 5 years of experience in successfully recruiting technical positions in IT, engineering, project controls, and project management fields within the pharmaceutical, food or chemical industry within a short timeframe would be a considered a very strong asset in the selection process
