The company overall is a great company to work for. The industry is not and the company had to change to compete.
Lease and Sales Advisor (Current Employee), San Francisco, CA – July 3, 2012
Pros: i get to see the latest in technology
Cons: very little time for family due to the hours
A typical day would consist of calling clients interested in new or Pre Owned cars. Following up with clients in portfolio and keeping ahead of their lease maturities and the road forward is a daily duty. Meeting with new clients and going over financial options that best suit their needs and colaborating with our financila institution on programs is – more... another one of my daily duties. I have gathered extensive knowledge in how to structure financials to fit within the institution`s guidelines. I work with a fairly young crowd and for the most part, co-workers that are passionate about the product. The hardest part of my position is "down time". The slow times are not easy as I need to be busy. The most enjoyable part of my position is to have a happy client, someone that absolutely trust you and seeing the smile on their face is priceless. – less
the productive life of working in the car industry
Marketing Internship (Former Employee), Cairo, ON – January 31, 2014
Pros: working with cars
Cons: long hours
As a car fanatic, this job was just out of this world. I got the chance to release a new car with the marketing team. This was a dream come true. I also analyzed all the competing car brands, allowing me to submit a list of information regarding all the newly released competing cars. The management team was very clear from beginning to end, allowing – more... me to do an even greater job than they expected. – less
BMW Mississauga (Former Employee), Mississauga, ON – May 14, 2013
Pros: got to look at nice cars
Cons: didn't get to work on said nice cars
This job was not so enjoyable for me only because i found myself standing around alot of the time watching, instead of learning hands on and actually doing work. I can understand where they were coming from though. Cars are expensive.
BMW Brazil (Former Employee), Brazil – June 25, 2014
Pros: all are smart and taught me everything they knew
When I was given the opportunity to work with BMW I do not know exactly nothing. As I am very determined in just one month I was already doing the work of a professional. I am very grateful for the BMW, I just walk away because I receive a job offer almost irrefutable.
