Designing various marketing, communication and promotional materials, including brochures, print and web advertisements, posters, and in-store signage
Design advertising as well as negotiating and buying ad space in local media
Planning and concept development and execution of print and media campaigns
Develop marketing literature, ensuring valid, current and accurate content (copywriting, editing and proofreading)
Keeping up to date with the latest product and brand information and applying to various mediums
Responsible for the maintenance and updating of multiple websites (graphics and content)
Provide assistance in terms of logistics in organizing company events
Acquire content, write and create monthly eNewsletters and eBlasts
Serving as a liaison with media companies, print suppliers, and various marketing services
Preparing press releases and event announcements
Monitoring corporate communications plan and strategy for uniformity in message, including templates, taglines, and logo usage

Formal training in marketing, design, or related field
Possess excellent computer skills in a Windows environment with proficiencies in Adobe CS, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office Products
Has a strong knowledge of print production specifications
Knowledge or marketing practices and principles
Knowledge of media placement and graphic design concepts
Skilled in both verbal and written communication
Must be able to work independently, handle multiple tasks, and able to work in an environment where tight timelines/deadlines are normal course and last minute changes are a given
Excellent copywriting skills and able to rework on technical aspects for a broad range of audience
Ability to work individually and self-driven products
Well-built skills in organization, prioritization, and time management
Product and brand understanding is an asset
Ability to work under stress to meet project deadlines and minute attention to detail
Graduate of an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications and/or graphic design with strong knowledge of marketing practices
