POSITION TITLE: Analytical Service Advisor
DEPARTMENT: Service
POSITION REPORTS TO: Service & Integration Manager

This position has the responsibility for providing technical service and support of analytical measurement equipment that Benchmark customers request. The incumbent will have a variety of integrated job functions that require technical, project and time management skills. The candidate will require aptitude in science and chemistry as they relate to analytics for process measurements.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
1. Analytical Service
a. Review customer requirements for operation and maintenance to meet performance expectations.
b. Review specific measurement requirements of the installed equipment.
c. Prepare and present scope of service strategy.
d. Provide technical service to customer (field and shop).
e. Support the requisition for service inventory and customer service requirements.
f. Prepare service reports and appropriate documentation for invoicing and record retention.
g. Work with customer to provide site specific operating maintenance procedures.

2. System Integration & Development
a. Provide technical expertise for the design and execution of integrated measurement solutions.
b. Liaise between suppliers and customers in order to achieve measurement solution.
c. Support for measurement development initiatives within the Benchmark scope.
d. Provide integration support as required to complete complex projects.
e. Provide regular reporting to management on project status.

PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTS
1. Timely preparation of proposals.
2. Adherence to customer specifications in proposal preparation.
3. Accurate and timely delivery of service reporting.
4. Effective and timely reporting to management on project status.

QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION: Technical Diploma/Degree or equivalent preferred.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE: Knowledge of basic MS Office applications
Basic communication and Networking

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 0-5 years of previous related experience required.

SKILLS / ABILITIES:
Ability to keep accurate up to date records.
Ability to communicate clearly
Well organized
Strong trouble shooting skills
Willing to travel
Have flexible working modes that support team work as well as autonomous working environments.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS OF THIS POSITION
No exceptional physical capabilities required for this position

WORKING CONDITIONS
Typical: Office & Customer sites
Training that will be provided
Candidate will be required to complete all relevant Benchmark training for EH&S compliance in addition to compliance with customer safety requirements.

Analytical measurement training for Benchmark principle suppliers (As Required)

1. ABB, SpectraSensors, Turner Design Hydrocarbon Instruments, etc.
2. Sample system design
3. Project management
