Grid 24 - $63,343.27 - $72,378.87*
- Posted salary includes a JFMM Allowance of 10% & a Location Allowance of 3%
The Enforcement Officer provides compliance and enforcement expertise on a provincial basis and is the key resource in the Compliance and Enforcement Program through which all provincial enforcement activities will be channeled and coordinated.
Consideration will be given to those with:
-Grade 12 plus post-secondary courses in natural resources law enforcement and 10 years directly related experience
-Technical Diploma in natural resource law enforcement or a related discipline and 8 years directly related experience
-Bachelor's Degree in natural resource law enforcement or a related discipline and 6 years directly related experience
There will be different combinations of relevant experience, education and/or training that would result in the person meeting the above standards, i.e. Masters in natural resource management and 5 years directly related experience.
Preference will be given to qualified applicants who demonstrate experience:
-Experience in a position specializing in the enforcement of a broad legislative mandate, such as environmental law enforcement and including but not limited to all of the following elements of responsibilities: supervision,budget/financial management, environmental law (waste/water/pesticide) and public education.
