Our Client is looking for a Technical Recruiter join their dynamic Team.
This is a performance driven consulting firm that provides professional services in Engineering, Project Management and Project Staff Augmentation within a diverse array of industry sectors including Transportation, Manufacturing, Energy, Infrastructure, Mining/Metals and Telecommunications.
The key responsibilities are:
Sourcing, identification, screening, interviewing and hiring of new employees in Technical, Managerial and Administrative roles
Executing proactive recruitment strategies and initiatives to meet on-going hiring needs
Working closely with hiring managers and the Human Resources department to assist in the development of sourcing strategies and job descriptions
Studying and understanding the roles and responsibilities of corporate positions, to ensure the most efficient recruitment communication, processes and approach
Documenting and tracking recruitment activities in corporate information systems, to ensure business data is managed and captured
Networking to source, identify and attract world-class employees
Developing and maintaining relationships with potential employment candidates for current and future employment opportunities
Identifying non-local markets for new corporate talent
Leveraging tools and technologies to continuously improve our recruitment success, including social media and other online tools.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Must have the ability to learn and understand technical job requirements to facilitate professional communication with technical employment candidates.
Must have extensive interpersonal communication and professional networking experience.
Proficient with MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook and the Internet.
Education and Experience:
Bachelors Degree or College Diploma in a related field, including Human Resources, Business, Engineering, Applied Sciences or Arts.
Previous recruitment experience would be preferred.
High level of motivation and drive.
