Our client is one of Rotary Club Internationals largest Rotary clubs in Edmonton is ready to offer you the opportunity of Full time/Part Time (25 hours a week) Administrative Assistant (Edmonton, Alberta). Your new centrally located job will allow you to fully utilize your administration experience, applying your talents to enhance to your new employer’s operation. In doing so, you deliver detailed, professional, organized and effective work that gets you recognized and substantiates your place within this highly productive service organization.
You have been exposed to a variety of detailed administrative and Simply Accounting office functions, promoting your astute capacity to be resourceful and think outside the box. You consider yourself to be an above average user of all Microsoft Office Programs, and have Not for Profit Experience, combined with knowledge of Rotary. You have been exposed to managing a web site, have prepared and completed all banking functions and have a good understanding of bookkeeping and Board Governance. Preparing and managing Member records, supporting Committee Function and assisting the President are among your many skills. Your time management capacities, combined with your exemplary customer service skills, have had past employers indebted to you! You address problems and challenged like they’re opportunities, demonstrating your maturity and resourcefulness. Having Board experience, you can take minutes, prepare materials for weekly meeting.
You are committed to your work and appreciate having flexible hours for which you are able to set your work schedule, allowing you excellent “work life balance”. You intuitively read people, and given time, you become attuned and can predict the work flow and prep required within an active Service Club environment, ultimately getting to know their members behaviors and expectations.
