The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for receiving and reviewing parts inquiries from the outside sales staff. Customer quotes are generated from the inquiries and provided to customers either directly or through outside sales.
Receive and review inquiries from outside sales team / or client.
Create quotes based on vendor pricing/company price book.
Receive and process orders
Work with engineering group to develop drawings for client submittal.
Follow up on status of orders.
Provide order status update.
Learn current pricing models and develops methods to improve them.
Create quote templates to improve turnaround time.
Work with company’s quality system to approve and maintain vendors.
You have 2 - 4 years inside sales experience in an industrial/technical environment.
You have a minimum of post secondary education in a science discipline.
You are comfortable in use of MS Office suite
Confident/Articulate speaker with the ability to think on your feet.
Enjoy and comfortable speaking on the phone.
CRM database tools knowledge is an asset
