Could be great place to work.
Pros: the field staff for the nortel ivr was outstanding, everyone willing to help with a problem or concern i had.
Cons: management, seemed to me, was to out the nortel staff, most conference calls every week, only dealt with what the avaya staff had concerns with.
I was part of Nortel, before Avaya bought us out, we became Avaya in 2010.
They changed management personel, at that time, they took a manager that I had with Nortel IVR experience and was a wonderful manager, always answered our questions or concerns.
When Avaya took over, I pleaded for months about cross training on the Avaya IVR solution, but this – more... fell on deaf ears, then this past Jan 2013, they laid off 7 of 17 field engineers that serviced the Nortel IVR solution.
As far as I can tell, there is no Field Engineer either North or West of Dallas, TX. – less
