Dynamic and always cutting edge. Coworkers are diverse and provides a fresh outlook and a wealth of experience.
The organisation is the best work culture which is results oriented and does not focus on micro-management of staff.
Most employees work as virtual office workers which allows for a lot of flexibility in the work home life balance. Travel is a strong requirement as most staff are spread across the Northern Hemisphere.
Lots of growth and advancement opportunity. BUT...
Business Ops (Current Employee) – Toronto, ON – 18 May 2016
Growth opportunity occurs as result of continuous restructuring. Ongoing transformation and business direction pivots seemingly daily, but more likely monthly. Very difficult culture to achieve business results. Company is loaded with very bright and dedicated, hard working employees and even some managers but leadership waffles, is indecisive and is clearly focused on survival, which naturally creates a culture with no consideration for talent or retention.
I started my career here, Bill is manager that hire me. He is awesome man that understand and know how release good product. Jody is my team leader, i have learnt from him alot design pattern and software architect. Its stressful at that moment because we have apple as our customer. But i really enjoy that time
Smart people, good compensation, interesting products
Software Engineer (Former Employee) – Ottawa, ON – 3 October 2012
Worked with some brilliant minds. The compensation and benefits were competitive. There were good technologies and high standards in place. The overall culture was work hard, provide rock solid code, and every once and a while escape to lunch/outing with your co-workers. Standard working hours.
Standard day: come in at 9, have scrum, work hard until 5, then enjoy the gym after work(not paid for).
