Internal Project Manager (Maternity Leave Replacement) (#4013343)
Our client is looking for a Vancouver-based Internal Project Manager to lead, administer, and train on key internal programs (Sales-Force, Service-Max) in partnership with all IT, service management and delivery teams.
Their ideal candidate is a Project Manager with a track record of successfully developing strong relationships, managing complex, cross-discipline projects, and administering, supporting and training end users. This role will collaborate with key stakeholders to implement internal projects that meet the strategic business and operational needs of the company.
Define the project’s scope, delivery, and related releases.
Clearly articulate customer input in both technical and business terms to ensure the value of the project is realized
Create a comprehensive plan including activity, dependencies, timing and ownership, and circulate amongst key team members for input and acceptance.
Collaborate with specific owners to deliver components of the project on-time.
Drive a unified message to all affected internal stakeholders and deliver feedback to the project teams
Regularly present to the executive team written and in-person project status and issues
Develop and provide train-the-trainer documentation to ensure successful launch and roll out of these projects
Provide service contract administration support
Spearhead all company safety initiatives and programs, including but not limited to managing all safety documentation; creating, updating safety procedures/policies/forms; oversee the rollout of new safety procedures/policies; help to co-chair the Corporate Health and Safety Committee
Work collaboratively with IT to track and resolve stakeholder issues
Help to maintain data integrity
Assist with the procurement of equipment for external clients
Our Client’s Ideal Candidate Has:
A BS/BA in Computer Science, Business, or related field
A minimum of 5+ years experience in IT, Security or Project Management
PMP Certification or similar
A proven ability to drive projects with high collaboration and leadership
Excellent written and oral communications
Excellent judgment, decision making skills, attention to detail, and the ability to continuously hit milestones
Excellent presentation skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Project and Visio
