Full Time Key Holder/Maid (Former Employee) – London, ON – 10 December 2015
While working at Avalon, I was basically on my own schedule. I was responsible for cleaning offices, so when the office closed I was able to enter any time after. I had full range of my time and my jobs time. I learned rather quickly that the act of cleaning is a lot less enjoyable, when its a large building. I'd like to say that the hardest part of the job was meeting everyone's different expectations of 'clean'. I was a keyholder for at least 4-5 different locations at a time. I was also responsible for knowing the entry and alarm codes for enabling and disabling. The management was very understanding of minor mistakes. They would take me into specific buildings if ever there was a complaint, to show me how i could improve. Which was extremely appreciated.
CYW (Current Employee) – Guelph, Ontario – 24 May 2014
Worst company ever. Management is so unprofessional, have no boundaries. Out drinking with other staff and well everyone sleeps with everyone here. You cannot advance in this company unless management likes you. Seniority means nothing. Love telling frontline staff that they are replaceable. They programs offered are a total joke. This company doesn't care about it's staff or it's residents it only cares about the almighty dollar. NEVER be so desperate that you would have to work here.
