Installation Technician (Co-op Work Term) (Former Employee) – Mississauga, ON – 28 April 2017
A typical day at auto truck group is quite productive as you are required to keep up a steady pace to meet deadlines on time. The management sometimes has conflicts with people working on shop floor which causes delays, but for the most part always manages to address issues in time to meet deadlines. The best part of the job are the people who are friendly and welcoming towards everyone, even if someone is new at the job. There are many challenges to face as sometimes there are new builds which require improvisation on the part of an installer; however, there are always experienced people around, who are ready to help and give a hand. Everyday has an opportunity to learn something new. There is less scope for advancing or climbing up the ladder as there are people with many years experience in line ahead of you, unless you really commit to the company and go out of your way to show your involvement.
ARI FLEET / Automotive Resources Int. Ontario & USA
Tech service advisor / call center (Former Employee) – Mississauga, ON – 20 September 2016
Nepotism. Favoritism. HR Dept is rude and judgemental. Call Center managers breath down your neck to meet their averages per month for their bonuses. Got a question?? There's no one to ask, especially if they don't want to answer. Be prepared to be written up for nothing to ensure youre held back from promotion. Company is all hype. The survey that's filled out isn't done by the people in the position youre looking at.
Tip: Auto truck group & Holman Auto are not in BC. ARI FLEET = Automotive Resources International. Look at all reviews.
