As the Regional Sales Manager for Alberta, development and management of internal and external business relationships is what you will do daily, as you lead a sales team, establish long and short term sales plans and goals, forecasts and pricing strategies. In addition to leading the sales team for your region, you will be involved in the negotiation of complex contracts and special pricing arrangements, when required, and take an active role in managing a sales territory of special account. You will maintain AIL’s core values and high service standards and continue to build on our reputation as a trusted advisor in the industry.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
The successful candidate for this role with have post secondary education in business or civil engineering and 6 to 10 years of sales experience, preferably in a similar industry, and a minimum of 4 years leading a sales team.
Your experience has advanced your business acumen including the ability to develop and manage to realistic budgets and the understanding of strategy and risk management in decision making.
Your solid communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to develop strong business relationships, complements your ability to motivate and develop others. You are good at executing win-win deals, contributing to the success and reputation of AIL as a trusted advisor in the industry. You can put together and present clear, concise, and credible business presentations.
